To get a seat in SASTRA University for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, admissions are based on merit and are conducted under two streams:
1. Stream 1 (based on JEE (Mains) score and +2 Marks) for 70% of seats
2. Stream 2 (based on +2 marks) for 30% of seats.In Stream 1, the weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively.
In Stream 2, applicants will be admitted based on their normalized aggregate +2 or its equivalent marks.
Total seats in Stream 1 are filled based on the following method:
20% for students from Trichy and Thanjavur Districts,
50% for students who complete X and XII in schools within Tamil Nadu,...more
