To get a seat in SASTRA University for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, applicants can be admitted through two streams:
1. Stream 1: 20% of the intake is reserved for applicants who have completed both X and XII from any school located in Trichy or Thanjavur District.
2. Stream 2: 30% of the intake is for students who have completed X and XII in schools outside Tamil Nadu, and admission is based on their normalized aggregate +2 or its equivalent marks.
Additionally, 50% of the intake is offered to those who complete X and XII in schools within Tamil Nadu (Puducherry included).
