To get a seat in Tezpur University for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, candidates should pass 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and pass marks in English. Admission is based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. 50% of the seats are reserved for permanent residents of the North Eastern region.
