To get a seat in University of Hyderabad for M.Tech. in Computer Science, candidates need to have a minimum of 60% marks in their Bachelor's degree examination in Engineering/Technology or MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science/Information Sciences/Electronics. Admission is based on GATE scores in Computer Science and Information Technology, and candidates are selected in order of merit. There is no entrance examination or interview for admission. Sponsored candidates with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in IT companies can also apply, and they are exempt from the GATE qualification.
