    To get a seat in VIT Chennai for M.Sc. in Data Science, candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, or Engineering with 60% marks. They should also have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in +2 and degree level. The admission will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination (UG or its equivalent). There is no entrance examination for M.Sc. programs at VIT. Candidates can apply online, and the admission procedure will be notified on the VIT website.
