How to get admission at top NITs in India?

<p>In India, NITs provide Engineering courses at the&nbsp;<strong>UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD levels.</strong>&nbsp;Depending on the course and branch the candidate chooses, there are different eligibility requirements. For the candidates' reference, however, the following general eligibility requirement for UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD Engineering degrees is provided:</p><ul><li><strong>BE/BTech:</strong>&nbsp;Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with&nbsp;<strong>&lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/science/physics-chp"&gt;Physics&lt;/a&gt;, &nbsp;&lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/science/chemistry-chp"&gt;Chemistry&lt;/a&gt;, and&nbsp;&lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/science/maths-course-chp"&gt;Mathematics&lt;/a&gt;</strong>&nbsp;as core subjects. They must have also secured a minimum of&nbsp;<strong>75%</strong>&nbsp;aggregate score (there is relaxation for other categories).</li><li><strong>ME/MTech</strong><strong>:</strong>&nbsp;Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid score in&nbsp;&lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam"&gt;<strong>GATE</strong>&lt;/a&gt;&nbsp;are eligible for the ME/MTech degree course.</li><li><strong>Diploma:</strong>&nbsp;Aspirants must have passed the Class 10/equivalent examination, with at least&nbsp;<strong>35% in Science and Maths subjects.</strong></li></ul><p>Hope this helps!</p>
