How to get admission in BA in journalism course in LPU?

    Considering the current pandemic , One of my friend took online admission in B.A Journalism in LPU.
    She told me that there are normally three ways i.e In-Campus, Out-Campus and Online but due to lockdown LPU is only allowing online admission. So, after meeting the eligibility, of 60% in +2 , you may take admission.
    You should take admission before 31-5-2020 to fetch maximum benefit of scholarship

    For B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication the eligibility is 50% marks in 12th with English as a subject.The admissions are open.There is a test conducted by university i.e LPU-NEST for B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.It is not mandatory but the applicant may give the test for higher scholarship. The university provides scholarship on the basis of percentage in 12th and LPU-NEST.

    LPU is an international university with top placements and world class infrastructure. LPU has 200+ courses and every course has certain eligibility criteria which should be fulfilled by a candidate for admission.     The eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Due to the current situation i.e. COVID-19, admissions are being done online.
    Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester.

    The BA in Journalism at LPU is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media . Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography etc.
    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.

    Hello Siddharth,
    In order to take admission, you should fulfill the eligibility criteria i e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.
    For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
    Due to COVID-19, none of outcampus(neither Karvan nor proper office) admission office is in working mode.
    Otherwise in every state, LPU has either admission offices or Karvaan teams in normal period.
