The admission process for M.Tech in COEP is no different than that for other colleges, and this entire process is similar to the Common Admission Process (CAP) adopted now-a-days for undergraduate admissions in Maharashtra State. Basic eligibility criteria: You should be an Indian NationalYou should have passed/appeared Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from State Governments/MHRD approved institutions, with at least 50 % Aggregate marks* (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)You should possess a Bachelor degree in the relevant course of Engineering/Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria of the concerned University for which admission is being sought to a particular Post graduate degree course/specialisation. You should have a positive GATE score, not older than 1 year from the date of applying for M.Tech through CAP.
