The admission process for M.A. Islamic Studies will be based on merit, which will be established by the results of the relevant qualifying test. The applicant must have at least 45% in their Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies or a closely connected field. Candidates who have completed their Fazilat (Graduation) with at least 45% of the required marks from a Madrsa recognised by Jamia Hamdard or in accordance with any applicable UGC regulations are also qualified. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Urdu/Arabic and knowledgeable about Islam's fundamental principles.
