Dear Deepesh Pandey, You need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to LPU for computer engineering. To the best of my knowledge, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Physics and Maths. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. If you have a minimum of 85 percentile in JEE Mains exam, you are exempted from the LPU NEST exam. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. On inquiring, I came to know that in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud. You can join LPU by appearing in LPU NEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19.
