LPU's Bachelor of Physiotherapy BPT is with duration of 4.5 years. (9 Semesters). Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam): Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics. Chemistry and Biology or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Admission Criteria: Merit in LPU NEST. There are many universities which offer this course, but as per my experience, I would suggest LPU as one of the best option. My brother is pursuing this course from LPU. Dear Naveen. It's very easy to get admission to the BPT course at LPU, My friend also did this programme at LPU. You may visit the LPU campus or visit the website for the admission process. Keeping all these points in mind, I would say that LPU would be the best choice for doing BPT No doubt LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also meeting the latest standards. BPT is also approved by IAP (Indian Association Physiotherapist) LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech State of art labs such as orthopaedic physiotherapy, general medicine, electrotherapy, neurology provide practical learning to the students. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure.
