Hello Jyoti, Final admission selection to Ph.D. will be based on performance on the entrance test (70% weight) and Interview (30% weight) subject to obtaining low marks in the Interview. Admission to the Ph.D. History course is based on an entrance exam followed by an interview conducted by various Universities. Students with UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), UGC NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE Master Fellowship holder or M graduates. Phil. Hope this helps!

2 years agoYou can refer the latest UGC NET notification. One need to have atleast 55% marks to apply for JRF and NET. Age limit for JRF is 31 and no age limit for NET. Criteria for admission is UGC NET score and minimum 55% marks. Admission for Ph.D. in BHU is through UGC NET or CRET. Certain candidates like JRF/ NET/ other fellowship etc. Are given direct admission whereas other has to appear for RET. Best wishes.
