The Bachelor of Science in biotechnology is a 3-year undergraduate course that involves an in-depth study of a biological process that is meant for industrial purposes like genetic manipulation of microorganisms to produce antibiotics, hormones, etc. Used in medicine production and other such purposes. A minimum combined score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) is required for both the Senior Secondary and Higher Secondary levels for the student. With a minimum aggregate score of 60% in all three disciplines, the student should have studied Physics Biology and Chemistry as primary subjects at the 10+2 level.
