To get admission to the Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) at Guwahati University, an applicant must have graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a university established by an Act of Parliament or by a state legislature. The admission shall be made strictly on merit by the respective college admission committee, either by holding a written admission test or an interview of the candidates. The maximum age for seeking admission in the 3-year law degree course is limited to 30 years, and 35 years for applicants belonging to SC, ST, or any other backward communities, as of the 1st June of the year of admission.
