To get admission to M.A. in Politics (International Relations) at JNU, candidates need to have a Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks in Social sciences and 55% marks for those who have Bachelor's Degree in Science and technology disciplines. They must also appear for the entrance examination, where they are expected to be familiar with the content of a standard B.A. course in Political Science. The M.A. programme consists of 16 courses, with 10 compulsory and 6 optional courses, and students can choose at least 4 optional courses from within the Centre and 2 from outside.
