<p>To get admission to M.Tech. in Computational Biology at IIIT Delhi, the eligibility criteria are:1. B.Tech/BE in CS/IT/Math-and-Computing or2. B.Tech/BE in any other discipline with additional requirements3. MCA4. MSc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical sciences)5. B.Pharm6. MBBS7. BDS</p><p>Applicants must have done biology, mathematics, and programming and data structures either during their qualifying degree or from recognised institutions/online. </p><p>The programme includes 32 credits of coursework and 16 credits for a thesis, with a minimum of 20 credits of coursework in Computational Biology. The core and elective subjects include Foundations of Modern Biology, Algorithms in Computational Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry, and more. </p><p>An intensive preparatory course is conducted for a month every year before the onset of the first semester, covering biology, mathematics, and programming and data structures. </p><p>Graduates of the programme can pursue careers in companies working in computational biology or pursue Ph.D. or advanced research in renowned research labs.</p>
