    To get admission to M.Tech. in Computer Science at the University of Hyderabad, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in their Bachelor's degree examination in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or in MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science/Information Sciences/Electronics. Admissions are based on GATE scores in Computer Science and Information Technology, in order of merit. Industry-sponsored and foreign candidates can also apply for supernumerary seats.
