Admissions for B.Tech and BTech shall be made according to the guidelines issued from Haryana state technical education society and given below;
- 50% of sanctioned in text shall be filled by the institution on the basis of marks of qualifying exam / JEE rank.
50% of sanction in text orbit filled through HSTES on the basis of the inter merit of JEE through online counselling.
List of documents to be brought at the time of admission are qualifying examination that is 10 + 2 / intermediate / senior secondary school examination / Diploma certificate. Matriculation / high school certificate. Jee admit card / leet admit card. JEE ran

Candidates seeking to get into Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research, or ACEAR for UG/PG courses must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
For UG (B.Tech)
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC) in Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology.
