    Bankura Unnayani Instititute of Engineering offers B.Tech courses in 6 specialisations. The college also offers admission to the B.Tech programme through lateral entry. Minimum eligibility for admission is 10 + 2 examination from a recognised board with physics chemistry and mathematics as subjects with at least 45% marks. Candidates applying for admission through lateral entry must have passed in Diploma in Engineering / BSc honors with 60% marks for admission to the B.Tech programme. Applicants have to pass WBJEE entrance conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board JEE main conducted by CBSE.

    Eligibility to get into BUIE for UG or PG courses This is the eligibility criteria that the applicants must have in order to get into BUIE:

    B.E. / B.Tech UG: The candidate should have scored 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Admission to the college is through WBJEE or JEE Main scores.

    M.Tech (PG) requires a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are through GATE scores or institute-level counseling.

    Students can apply online through the official website. They must fill up the application and attach the required documents to submit it.
