Fergusson College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
Ph.D.	The candidates fulfilling at least one of the following conditions will be exempted from the Entrance Examination:1. Qualified in GATE (valid score)/GPAT (valid score)/SET/NET/JRF/SRF examination of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT and DST inspire fellowship only;2. M.Phil. Degree in a relevant subject completed from any Recognized University;3. Minimum experience of 5 years as an approved teacher of Savitribai Phule Pune University in affiliated college/recognized institution/University Department;4. Senior citizen of an age of 60 years and above with Master's degree;5. Candidates such as Advocates/Doctor's/Artist/lndustry Professional/Employees of Government, Semi-Government Organisations fulfilling conditions prescribed for therelevant Faculty as mentioned in Schedule. Candidates entitled for exemption from the Entrance Examination shall submit the Registration Form along with relevant supporting documents within t
B.A.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognised board.
B.Voc	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognised board.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognised board.
M.A.	Candidate must have completed B.A. Marathi or with Marathi as one of the subjects at graduation level.
M.Sc.	Candidate must be a graduate in relevant field from a recognised University.
MCA	Candidate must have completed B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) /B.Sc (IT) /B.E. (CSE) / B.Tech (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. Or Candidate who have completed any graduation degree B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.A. /B.Voc. preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) with above marks can also apply. Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear.
