how to get into genetic engineering after my 12th with bipc? any exam to be attended? what is the percentage required to get into it?

    Hi Meghana.
    To get admission in genetic engineering you should be Maths,Physics, Chemistry and Biology student. In XII you must get atleast 90% above where there is only limited seats for the same.
    In entrance exam you must get 90% to get admission. The fees you should ask the college.

    - Genetic Engineering (GE) is a highly complicated and advanced branch of science which involves a wide range of techniques used in changing the genetic material in the DNA code in a living organism.
    - The basic eligibility criteria for a graduate degree is 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as genetics as part of the biology
    OR
    a bachelors degree in science or molecular biology.
    - Most institutes do not offer it as a special discipline but as a subsidiary in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry.
    - Some of the renowned universities to pursue B.Sc in Genetics :
    Rajendra Agricultural University
    University of Pun
