    Hi,
To get into IIT, you have to appear JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) main and advance. JEE in conducted in two parts MAIN and ADVANCE. JEE main is first screening test and made candidate shortlisted eligible to write JEE advance. JEE advance test is conducted by IIT aspirants. Weightage is given as per 12th board examination. For final merit list 40% of 12th board and 60% for JEE examination.
    Hope this information helps.
    Wish You Luck!
