    The candidate should have secured an aggregate of 45% with Physics & Mathematics as a part of the subjects, along with one of the following subjects:- Chemistry,  Biotechnology,  Computer Science,  Biology & Electronics. Eligibility criteria for candidates from SC/ST and OBC are 40% in optional subjects. The candidate must have appeared and cleared English as one of the subjects. Diploma or equivalent degree holders can apply for admission in the second year, provided they have secured 50% in their final year examination.
