    Don't complicate it for yourself and take it as a Language Test. Improve your English by reading newspapers and watching shows in english without subtitles. Read English articles and try to understand sentence formation. Then you can also attempt mock IELTS papers online and check your weak points.
  • First, understand the exam pattern well and also go through the details as how the band system works. Plan your time management as you are expected to answer so much questions within the stipulated 60 minuets. Based on the type of questions learn a method as how to approach that type of questions. For example Yes/no /not given question you have to ask, who, what, when and where and then you will be able to get the answer. Practice well. You can also take some coaching before writing the exam.
