Hi H56391, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Hi, Thanks for the tag. * Scope : Animation is a booming industry with wide job openings and you can work on full length animation movies or any other related fields such as television, advertising industry, etc. Some of the jobs offered in the industry are : • Content developer • Modeler • Story Broad Artist • Character animator • Background artist • Layout artist • 2D animator • Compositor • Editor * Salary : Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience, etc. But, still, to give you a brief idea, -Junior animator or trainee : earn between Rs.10000 - 15000 per month. -With three to five years experience : earn between Rs. 25000 to 40000. -Well-experienced animator with good portfolio : earn between Rs. 50000 - 60000 per month.
