    This exam is perhaps a must for lateral admission. However, some colleges may admit students in the lateral mode under the management quota without this exam. In such cases, no NOC is required from any board. Your diploma certificate is enough. Admission to any course at the K.S. Group of Institutions is not done based on the scores obtained in the DCET exam. Admission to BTech Lateral entry courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the previous examination.
