Yes you can join. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech lateral admission is given below.
Eligibility : Minimum 50% mark in engineering diploma courses for general and 45% for reserved categories such as BC/BCM/MBC&DNC/SC/SCA/ST for candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu. -
yes you can cjoin but you have to make an agreement with the college that you are studying now and there is a lot of money involved and also a good result backing it.
