How to join Indian Trade Service (ITS)?

Hi, The Indian Trade Service (ITS) is a Group A central service that was started in 1986. The ITS officer's duty is to look after the interests of the country's trading community. To join this service, you need to appear in the UPSC CSE exam. The following are the steps to join the Indian Trade Service: 1. Apply for the UPSC CSE exam when the notification is published. 2. The CSE is a three-stage exam, and you need to pass each stage to get selected for ITS. 3. The first stage is the preliminary, which is a qualifying stage. 4. To clear this stage, you need to meet the cutoff for GS-1 and GS-2 papers. 5. The second stage is the main stage. It consists of nine papers and requires the ability to write good answers. 6. You need to score well in this stage, as marks from this stage are considered for the merit list. 7. After clearing this stage, you need to fill out DAF 2, in which you can list ITS as your service preference. 8. The final stage is the interview, which tests candidates' personalities. 9. After you qualify at this last stage, your name will be published in the selected list. 10. After this, the services are assigned to selected candidates, and you will be assigned ITS based on the vacancies and your score.
