How to make a career in the mass-media?

Mass communication is becoming very popular these days. In this course, you have to show your vocal, verbal and technical abilities. If you can communicate or debate, you can be a good anchor. If you can study a case rightly, you can be a reporter. If you want to go be technical line, camera and editing are one of the best options. There are several colleges in India, where you can take admission.

<p>In order to pursue Mass communication, you can take up the courses like:</p><ul><li>BJMC (Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication)</li><li>B.Sc. MCAJ (Bachelors of Science in Mass communication and Journalism)</li><li>BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media)</li></ul><p>You can signup for the given courses from the government and private institutes.</p><p>The eligibility Criteria for Bachelor in Mass Communication is:</p><p><strong>Age:</strong> At the time of admission a student should be 17 years of age or should complete 17 years before 1st October of the year in which admission is sought.</p><p><strong>Education Qualification:</strong> A student must have successfully completed his/her 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it. The minimum marks for gaining admission are 45 to 50 percent.</p><p>However, most of the universities/institutes insist on 1st division in aggregate of 3 main subjects and 1 elective subject in XIIth standard. Some colleges also want their student to be fluent in English language and expect at least 75 marks in the subject.</p><p>Depending on the chosen college, students may need to appear for an entrance test. The entrance test is generally divided into three parts - written test, group discussion (G.D.) and personal interview (P.I.). Based on performance in these three rounds, a student will be finally selected.&nbsp;</p>
