How to make a good career in MIS and data analysis

I've done polytechnic diploma after 12th from janradan rai vidhyapeeth university in2009 and now i workin as a mis exec.in convergys What should i do to get a better position or to make a bright career in MIS or data analyst...as i m not graduate i may have to face many challenges....pls suggest....
