Hello
First of all, you need to know the IIT JAM SYLLABUS & exam pattern. As early as you know syllabus and exams pattern, you can start preparing a few months before exams. In my opinion, just keep your concepts and moreover you have other options too like GS that is the entrance exam of TIFR and JEST to get integrated Ph.D course in many other institutes. Also, you can apply for foreign institutes if you've good grades along with some research skills like in mostly institutes of Germany there is no tuition fee for Masters in Physics so you can apply there, it is not necessary to give GRE for all some them can also accept you on the basis of CV and resume. You've to get a list of all available options and set it on priority orders and then work hard and smart.
