Read more and make points: you need to read more and more. To get good depth knowledge on particular topics you need to read more. Make points of what you read. Don't tell to yourself that you will remember. Never do it. Because it's all about technical terms and terminologies in zoology. Reference books: As much as reading is important, so is referring a good text books too! Don't go for those books which discuss the topics briefly and solve few questions, you will never learn the concept properly. Refer the ones which starts from basic and ends with a complete note of that topic
