How to prepare for CAT, CMAT or MAT? What are the benefits and disadvantages of the same?

    Hello,
    CMAT is common management admission test. It is conducted by the AICTE. It is computer based test of duration 180 minutes. Total question: 100
    Total marks: 400 marks
    It consist of 4 sections
    CAT EXAM-Common admission test
    Duration: 180 minutes
    Total questions: 300 marks
    Three sections
    Negative marking: 1/3rd
    MAT Exam: management aptitude test
    Duration: 150 minds
    It is computer based and pen paper based
    Total 5 sections:
    CMAT has an easier approach than CAT. CMAT offers good opportunity for all those who remain dissatisfied with their CAT 2016 or XAT results as CMAT on January will give a chance to improve their scores and get admission call

    The basics of all these exams are English, Maths and Logical Reasoning. So, you need to get hold on these three subjects. Yes, the level of difficulty varies in all these three with CAT being the toughest and MAT being the easiest amongst these three. A good score in CAT will fetch you calls from IIMs and also other best colleges for MBA.

    It all depends on your field of interest. If you are good in maths and have interest towards economics, then finance is a good option. If you are good in communication and convincing people than Marketing is better choice. Operations is more related to applying maths in minimising the time and improving Return On Investment. HR is more related to how you engage with people. It all depends on your likings/dislikings which field you are interested in.

No, candidates do not have to mandatorily appear for the CMAT entrance exam for MBA in Business Analytics at Marwadi University. Candidates can apply for MBA admissions through any of the national level entrance exam such as CAT, XAT, ATMA and more. However, during admissions into the MBA in Business Analytics, candidates who appeared for the CMAT exam are given more preference.

Yes, it is possible to get an MBA seat at CET Trivandrum with a valid CMAT score. The institute accepts CAT, CMAT, and KMAT scores for MBA admissions. Thus, students who did not appear for CMAT or did not score well can apply via KMAT or CAT scores.
