How to prepare for CAT? What should I do to self-study? Which are the good books for the same?
I am from Shimla. I want to give CAT this year, but there are no good institutes for coaching.

I would recommend that you try out the study material from IMS / TIME / Career Launcher as your first resource.
Some of the Books recommended for CAT are-Quantum CAT by Sarvesh VermaHow to prepare for Data Interpretation for the CAT TMH / Arun SharmaPearson Guide to Quantitative Aptitude and Data Intrepretation for CAT by Nishit Sinha

First, get some coaching books, e.g. TIME, career launcher, etc. These books have lots of relevant and latest questions along with shortcut methods to solve. Another book to self-study is RS Aggarwal. Apart from the books, also prepare your CV well because you will be thoroughly asked questions during interview from your CV.

Hi Mukul,
You need not to worry. You can do self-study. Start with you class 11th and 12th Mathematics. Other good books are R.S.Agarwal for Mathematics and Arun Sharma for QA.
