How to prepare for Chemistry section in SRMJEEE?

<p>In order to excel in the Chemistry section of the SRMJEEE exam, students should extensively study the NCERT textbooks for classes 11 and 12. Physical chemistry predominantly encompasses the areas of equilibrium, thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, and electrochemistry. Organic chemistry candidates need to master reaction mechanisms and nomenclature of reactions. They should also be well-prepared for questions related to acidic and basic strength based on conceptual understanding. Regular, in-depth study of inorganic chemistry is essential. It is advisable to create comprehensive notes for this section and gain proficiency in topics such as p block, d &amp; f block elements, and coordination compounds. Theoretical questions mainly revolve around biomolecules, everyday chemistry, polymers, surface chemistry, and environmental chemistry. It is recommended that candidates thoroughly study the NCERT textbooks as some questions are directly sourced from them.</p>
