How to prepare for GD/PI?

Hi Sejal, GD/PI is the most important process for getting admission in MBA institute. Following are some important things for GD. 1. Current affairs (Business and economics)Read economic times everyday. Know about recent developments like 'Make In India', Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Union Budget etc. 2. Know who's who in politics and business. Read about the latest initiatives taken by the govt to boost economic growth. 3. Start analysing these topics you read. 4. While speaking in a GD, speak only about what you know. Do not make false statements. 5. You must address every member in a GD and do not look at the moderators. Some important points for PI 1. Know yourself very well. Your strengths and weakness. Emphazise more on your strengths. Give reasons for why you want to MBA. There must be a logical flow in your statements. Talk about your hobbies. Your short term and long term career goals. Where do you want to see yourself after 5 years.? Listen to the interviewer's questions carefully. Finally just be yourself. All the best!
