    I would say that the level of GMAT is not very high it is same as 10th or 12th Math and English but it is pretty tricky so one has to understand the tricks along with getting strong hold on fundamentals.

    To further enhance the quality of this discussion, I would say that the key to preparing for the GMAT is to be systematic and stay focused. There are many good GMAT books available, which one could refer to for strengthening their preparation, but one should be careful in selecting the correct kind of books.
    Aspirants should also take mock sample tests as these serve not only to prepare them for the type of questions to be expected, but also to give an estimate of the time one take to solve them, which is of prime importance.     I would say to follow the 7 easy steps in order to crack the examination in one go:-
    *Clear you basic Maths Concepts
    *Work on you vocabulary
    *Develop the habit of reading
    *Reasoning skills can be improved by solving puzzles
    *Practice a lot
    *Once you know your strengths and weaknesses, go for some full-length tests. Observe how you improve your score with each passing test.

    I think the preparation of GMAT is similar to other management exams. All a student has to do is sticking to basics of preparation. Working on SPEED and ACCURACY. Going through all the subjects deeply. Having an eye on current happenings for GK.
