As you go on reading your each item you develop a idea. Reading and note-making go hand in hand. It is not gathering material. It is for recollecting what you read and adding points later. It is to be in your own words.

Make sure you do mock papers on a regular basis. They are easy to get. Then separate your weaknesses and then work upon them.
