    What is your specialisation in B.Tech? Electrical Engineering is offered as an optional for Mechanical and Civil folks, normally. It is composed of various areas like Digital, Analog, Microprocessors etc. So, It is not that difficult to clear the paper.

    Regarding subjects, there is a big list of optional subjects to choose from. You may choose according to your personal interest and skills. It is advisable to opt for a particular subject in which you are comfortable and find scoring as it will help you to prepare well and crack the exam.
