    1) Beware of using too many reference books.
    2) It can help you to score more by indexing topics in order of priority or weightage they carry in JEE Mains and Class XII board exams.
    3) Revise, practice using previous year papers of IIT JEE.
    4) Time management is an important factor in JEE Mains. So, while solving model JEE question papers, keep an eye on your watch too. If solving a question is taking too much time, move on.

Make your studies focused on clearing the basic fundamentals in your mind and try to enhance your ability to apply those fundamentals correctly where-ever required in the problems that you solve while studying your subjects. Try to solve more & more problems, try to answer more & more questions and that too in writing. Take a mock test of yourself or else ask one of your friends to ask you questions. Join a coaching institute if you can. Study as much as possible and make a study schedule for yourself. And yes, rest in between is absolutely necessary to refresh your mind.
