How to prepare for KCET parallel to board exams?

KCET is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and is likely to be held on 4 and 5 May 2016. The official notification for KCET 2016 will be released soon by the KEA. Candidates should have passed class 12th/ 2nd PUC/ Equivalent Exam with Mathematics a mandatory subject and attained minimum aggregate of 45% Marks (40% for ST/ SC candidates) in Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Electronics to become eligible for writing the examination. Candidates should have studied above mentioned subjects in English. Apart from this, only those resident of Karnataka who will possess proof of their residency will be eligible to write KCET 2016. Provision for candidates outside Karnataka is that they can write KCET only if they have studied, at least, 7 years in Karnataka. Preparations for the examination shall start early. Coaching manuals are available in leading bookstalls. Besides a few local private institutes provide coaching assistance for the entrance examination. you may make use of available spare time for preparations, be it in the evening or holidays.
