The preparation tips for SSC JHT English are mentioned below:
- Questions are based on the identification of grammatical errors, para jumbles, synonyms, antonyms, sentence errors, cloze test, reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, error spotting, etc.
- Read newspapers, magazines and books and practice basic grammar questions to revise and build vocabulary as well as the basic grammar rules.
- Candidates must solve mock tests and practice questions periodically to analyse their level of preparation and to identify areas that they can improve

Candidates must carry the admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Electronic items are not allowed inside the exam centre. The sheet to do rough work is provided at the exam centre.,
SSC JHT Paper 2 admit card 2024 will be released on March 27, 2025. The Paper 2 admit card will be released for candidates who qualified the Paper 1 exam. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The admit card comprises important details related to the exam.
Candidates should do the necessary rough work on test booklet/question paper. Candidates should not do rough work on the answer sheet or any other paper. If any rough work is done on the answer sheet your answer sheet will not be assessed.
Candidates can bring ink pen/black ballpoint pen for filling up the Part A of Side 1, Part-B of Side I and Side 2 of the answer sheet. Besides this, candidates are not allowed to carry anything to the exam centre.
Mobile phones, pagers, etc. are not allowed inside the examination Hall. Candidates who are found to possess Mobile or Cellular Phones, Pager and other unauthorised electronic gadgets after commencement of the examination, whether in use or not, will be deemed to be using unfair means and would be liable to disciplinary action as deemed fit, including ban from future examinations conducted by SSC. Their candidate will also be cancelled for the examination.
