Firstly, start from the basic, do research about the syllabus which is asked in the exam and exam pattern. Then looks for all the reference which you can get about the syllabus and start your studies, if you have done BA in Politics then it will be the advantage for you because you don't have to worry about much, and do study the previous year question papers time to time and start sitting with the time bondage while solving the previous year papers, that will help you to solve papers in finals with best results.
