    To be eligible for UPSC,
    - You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
    - You may appear in the exam if you are in final year.
    - You must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
    - You must be an Indian citizen.

    To crack the exam, the preparation requires the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy.

    Hi,
    The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
    As part of initial preparations, you should first have good knowledge about the subject area and pattern of the exam.
    You can refer model question papers and other standard text books for practice.
    You should work hard and practice more number of questions which will help you to identify your weak areas and try to improve upon them further.
    Attending mock tests will be useful.
    You should have good knowledge in core subject areas also.
