    Hi Aswaria, reading the newspaper really helps. Underline the words, and write them separately.Also,there are a few good apps that help you build vocabulary.I recently downloaded this app called http://www.vocabmagik.com/#home & it's quite helpful, You can try it too.

    There is a book - Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis. It is a brilliant book that helps you build a strong vocab. I would suggest you to buy this book and keep reading it again. The book does not force you to memorize any word, it explains the origin and history behind the word hence making it easier to remember the words.

    Hello Aswaria,
    To prepare for vocabulary, the best thing to do is practice from the study material of the coaching institutes and give as many tests as possible. Also , you can start reading newspapers and magazines which will help you build your reading skolls as well as increase your vocabulary.
