    1. Rankings to understand the quality of teaching.
    2. Specialisation
Some MBA schools are famous in some specific subjects irrespective of the overall rankings and provide good future in that area.
    3. Placements
Generally placements are superb for high ranking schools. But then if you have inclination towards any specific sector or company, you should check the placement history of that school whether it provides the same sector for you. Not all the school are good in all sectors.

    Hi Surya,
There are different type of admission for MBA and PGDM in India. IIMs and other business schools provide admissions on the basis of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc. CAT is number 1 entrance test to get a seat in IIMs. MAT is also competitive enough. But, you should get 700+ score out of 800 to get top business schools.
With your score, you can apply for some colleges like:
    1. IPE – Hyderabad.
    2. VJIM – Hyderabad.
    3. Shiv Shivani Institute of Management – Hyderabad.
    4. Indira University.
    5. Balaji Group.
    6. DY Patil University, etc.
    All the best.

To get a decent B-school, you need better score. You should go for preparation or appear for May MAT. Though with this score, you can apply for an average college, but you should look for ROI.

This trend suggests that the MAT percentile has neither seen much change in cutoff nor competition over the past three years.
