Remembering is very less in organic. Learn it like physics, note the concepts, note the basic fundamentals behind each reaction like whether it is nucleophilic or electrophilic, are there conditions for 2 and order reaction or is it elimination or substitution. And, practice past year IIT papers.

Don't try to remember, just practice and learn mechanisms of reactions. And you will easily get the answers to all your questions from these mechanisms.
