Hi Suraj,
Extempore scores can be increased by practice. The more you practice ,the more fluently you'll be in your extempore.
The skills tested in extempore are creativity, imagination, fluency in English and ability to formulate your ideas into words. By ensuring you display these, you can do well in extempore. Basic general knowledge and the latest happenings in the world will also help you in your PI round. -
Dear Suraj,
The Extempore round is to gauge your on-feet thinking ability. You will be expected to speak for 60 seconds on a given topic. The Personal Interview will focus on gauging your intent towards pursuing an MBA, clarity towards career goal and thought process. We would suggest you to prepare keeping these in mind.
Hope this helps! -
Hello Suraj,
To handle the extempore and PI round, you should be first thorough with the current affairs, as it always helps. Secondly, you can be asked anything in your interview, be it current affairs, GK, your graduatio subjects, about your hobbies, extra curricular activities or your academic achievements. For extempore, you should daily pick a few topics, and practice in front of the mirror or just like that. It would give you an idea where you stand at present and the scope of improvement. Topics can be even random like chair, fan, grapes or some big heavy topics. You should practice with as much topics as you can. All the best.
