The All India Common entrance called CET is conducted every year. You have to clear the exam to get admission in IMU. Please follow the given link to know more about this. www.imu.edu.in.

For B.Tech(Lateral Entry) :
Candidate must have passed Diploma in mechanical or marine engineering with 60% marks from a recognised Institute and must have secured 50% marks in English either in 10+2 /10th level. Candidate has to appear for the IMUCET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test).
Age Criteria :
Minimum 18 years | Maximum 26 years.
