At present, PSIT Kanpur offers 5 UG courses and 4 PG courses. PSIT is internally divided into PSITche - PSIT College of higher education and PSITcoe - PSIT College of Engineering. PSIT is generally confined to courses namely B.Tech, B.Pharma MCA MBA, M.Tech and MPHARM whereas PSITche offers only 2 courses namely BBA and BCA. The selections process differs for various UG/PG courses at PSIT and the shortlisted candidates may have to face an interview round or aptitude test before final selection. PSIT reserves 85% of the seats for the candidates securing high ranks in UPSEE – State Entrance Test. Lateral entry admissions are also offered for UG courses, provided the candidate must have undergone Diploma course in the corresponding stream.
